I thought it was time to formally introduce ourselves.  My name is Karen Reed and my business partner is Steve Collins.  We have worked together for the past 12 years and have done some amazing things.  We have taught each other a lot over the years and have had the opportunity to teach others along the way.  Because of this, we both have a very well-rounded knowledge of business and a desire to help others (making a living is high on the list too but that’s another story).

We have known for a long time that working for others is not a good place to be, especially in this economy.  For quite some time now, we have had the desire to start our own business but like a lot of others, have had trouble stepping out of our comfort zone.  I know there are a lot of you that know exactly what I am talking about.  It’s been hard but I am excited to say we have done it!

Organic Business Strategies is our answer to being able to share thoughts, ideas, and information with others and hopefully be of help along the way.  While we do both have strong business backgrounds, we are new to blogging so hopefully you’ll cut us some slack in that arena for now.  We will improve with time and welcome any comments or suggestions to help us.
