Organic business strategies are those that are developed openly and honestly. Some would refer to this as transparency. They are those that are developed naturally, without force. It’s about developing relationships in every aspect of your business. With your customers, employees, suppliers and even the mail man. It is social media marketing taken to the next level.
Social media marketing, for those that have not heard of it, is a form of marketing developed around social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and blogging to name a few. The basis of this is building and strengthening your brand while developing relationships with your customer base. It demonstrates to them your knowledge of your business, your care and concern for them as customers, and by your willingness to share a little of yourself makes you reachable and real to them. When social marketing is executed properly, customers come to trust you personally and become loyal to you and your business. It is all about relationship building.
We believe that this strategy should be applied to all aspects of your business. As an example, if your business requires that you ship by Fed-Ex on a regular basis, doesn’t it make sense to develop a great relationship with your driver as well as your sales representative? Absolutely! If you have a great relationship with both, you will get much better service from both.
Another example would be with your suppliers. If you develop a relationship with your suppliers, they will think of you first when a special discount is available, go above and beyond when you are in a pinch, do their very best to get you product ahead of someone that has not taken the time to develop the relationship. The other side of this is that the experience will not only be better for you, it will be better for them as well. It doesn’t get better than that.
What do you think about this concept?
